Clinical Psychologist

I recognize that we all have great potential and, as such, utilize a strength-based, psychodynamic approach to help clients recognize their true strengths. I strive to create a welcoming and open-minded space so that clients can feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable in order to explore their concerns, relationships, and identities.
After receiving my MA in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University, I have made an effort to relate and collaborate with clients from all types of backgrounds and cultural upbringings. During my time at WMU I was trained in play therapy, and currently utilize the techniques learned to work with children with learning how to process trauma, and navigate their emotions in a healthy way.
Our past experiences spill over into our present thoughts, actions, and emotions. This is why I diligently collaborate with clients along their pursuit to gain self-awareness. After all, as Muhammad Ali said: "What you're thinking is what you're becoming."
