Sierra Rea, MSW, LMSW

Clinical Social Worker

(she/her/hers or they/them/theirs)

I’m an enthusiastic social worker and educator who loves helping people reconnect with their authentic selves and find what truly serves them. My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and grounded in social justice, with deep respect for the diversity of minds, bodies, identities, and cultures.

In our work together, I aim to understand how you experience and interact with the world so that I can best support you through any number of concerns or transitions. Our work together will be a collaborative process — I trust you to make decisions that are best for you, but I will challenge you with insight, guidance, and practical tools. I hope to help you make sense of and honor your experience while building resilience for the future.

My non-traditional therapeutic style incorporates various modalities based on each individual’s goals, but I love sharing my knowledge of EMDR with folks who are interested in seeing if this technique might be a possible avenue for healing.

My personal and professional experience have given me a deep appreciation for the diverse needs and desires of people whose unique characteristics play into their ability to feel comfortable and confident in themselves, especially within systems and structures that do not affirm them. I hope to provide you with a safe space where you can feel seen, supported, and celebrated in your identities while exploring new possibilities for growth.
