Amy Marchant, MA, LPC, NCC

Professional Counselor & Practice Owner

(she/her/hers)

I founded CETT in 2020 out of a desire to create a place where people could come and know that they would receive the highest level of care after being through traumatic or abusive experiences in their past. When people see our center I want them to think, “I’ll be safe here. I’ll be understood here”.

I hold an Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. I am a National Certified Counselor through the NBCC and trained as a Clinical Supervisor for Limited License Professional Counselors. I am trained in EMDR therapy, which is proven to be highly effective in reducing symptoms associated with trauma and I am currently working towards completing my certification in EMDR.

My internship experience was completed at a sexual assault center where I counseled children, teen and adult survivors of sexual abuse and assault. After that, I spent time in both solo and group private practices, working with trauma survivors, as well as those suffering from anxiety and depression.

It is my belief that an integrated approach to mental health care is the best way to understand the unique complexities of each individual. Everyone deserves to feel alive and live a life of joy and purpose.

My specialties involve working with those who have experienced sexual abuse/assault in their past and those who are looking to improve their self-confidence and identify their strengths and passions.
