Clinical Social Worker

(she/her/hers)

I strive to meet all people where they are at, seeing their strengths, life experiences and individual qualities that make them, them. I believe in coming alongside you, as you begin your therapeutic and healing journey. I know that various life experiences and trauma(s) have a way of impacting beliefs about ones-self and the lens through which one sees themselves. I've spent the past twelve years working specifically with survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse. This experience has given me a great deal of knowledge on trauma and its impact on individuals, families and communities as a whole.

I specialize in working with survivors of complex trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in EMDR therapy, as well as other evidence-based practices to help heal the nervous system. I believe in the power of utilizing somatic-based practices. In addition, I utilize the psychodynamic approach, internal family systems (IFS), sensorimotor therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.

Everyone is different and therefore every person’s path, pace, and treatment plan is different. We will develop this course of action together, empowering you every step of the way in your own healing. I believe in the healing nature of supportive relationships and aim to foster this in the therapeutic relationship.
